The team at PHD is celebrating a remarkable night of client success after several of our customers won big at the annual FIAUK awards ceremony.

On what soon became a busy night for the team, our clients took home a total of four Gold Awards, one Silver, and three Bronze prizes on the back of award entries submitted by PHD.

The glitzy gala dinner was held at the iconic Silverstone circuit, the home of F1, in front of over 400 leading professionals from the world’s biggest names in packaging, labels, and flexo printing. The 2022 awards were also a celebration of the golden anniversary of FIAUK, the professional body marking 50 years since its founding in 1972.

The awards are judged by a panel of experts from across the flexo sector. Winners were divided into Bronze, Silver, and coveted Gold awards, as well as Highly Commended awards for particularly impressive runners-up. As is tradition, the event also played host to a fundraising initiative for a selected charity, with this year’s cause being UNICEF’s appeal to aid children affected by the war in Ukraine.

Joanna Stephenson, Managing Director of PHD and Marketing Director of FIAUK, spoke with pride on the event, saying, “Everything we do, we do for our clients. Our success is measured by the success of our clients, so it is incredibly gratifying for us all to see so many of our partners achieve recognition at an event that is particularly close to our hearts.”

PHD manages all award entries for clients, with the eight-award haul from the FIAUK being the latest in a string of successful outings for the PHD family.

Stephenson added, “We saw a lot of tremendous successes for our clients at the awards. Huge congratulations are due not only to the winners but to all the entrants who made it the most competitive ceremony yet.

“Perhaps our biggest client success though was the entire ceremony, as FIAUK is also a client of ours! To see it still flourishing at 50 years old, with these annual awards events bringing out the best in this incredible industry year after year, is truly special. To have been fortunate enough to be a part of it yet again was a joy.
