A long term PHD Marketing client, we launched a specific targeted campaign for Parkside, an innovative packaging solutions provider specialising in innovative sustainable flexible packaging solutions, for the food & drink, personal & household care and tobacco sectors.

The Brief

Parkside, a leading innovation-led flexible packaging solutions provider, asked PHD to strategise, create and deliver a campaign to highlight the difference made by innovative sustainable packaging. The aim of the campaign was to highlight excellence in innovation in compostable and sustainable packaging in response to increased consumer eco-awareness trends, without losing sight of the company’s core flexible packaging offer.

Our Activity

We developed a ‘Packaging Makes the Difference’ digital campaign for Parkside. Our key focus area was the company’s innovative compostable packaging for the food and drink industry, which is accredited for home and industrial composting. 

Our plan was centred around a website refresh and #packagingmakesthedifference social media campaign to drive traffic back to the site. We expanded this story out through PR, articles and blogs as part of a comprehensive content marketing strategy.

Results

Our website refresh and content marketing campaign were successfully deployed in 2019. Stats increased across Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook, driving traffic to the website which saw increased activity as result. In 2019, we generated coverage in over 26 publications for Parkside, including PR, thought leadership articles and features, and helped them secure WorldStar and DieLine award wins, which boosted the company’s reputation as the go-to expert for innovative flexible packaging solutions.
