Optibiotix Marketing Communications Management

We balance marketing and investor communications for OptiBiotix, a company that develops ingredients that modify the human microbiome to prevent and manage human disease.

The Brief

Optibiotix, a high-growth alternative investment market (AIM) backed company, required a B2B marketing partner to create and manage an effective communications strategy that aligned with its investment PR strategy. A key requirement of the brief was to develop a narrative through thought leadership articles for the healthcare sector that was compliant with health claims legislation.

Our Activity

We developed complementary communications to the company’s investment PR strategy to promote Optibiotix expertise in the microbiome sciences and health & nutrition fields. For Optibiotix, our ability to create accurate communications detailing the protection of patents and trademarks, supply contracts and product launches were key when maintaining a continuous flow of news in support of share prices.

What our clients say:

PHD very quickly understood our product, the life sciences sector and our target audience. They developed a strategy that works seamlessly with our investor communications. We’ve seen increased coverage and social media activity as a result.

Results

In 2019, we achieved 20+ pieces of coverage in key titles such as NutraIngredients, Nutrition Outlook, Food Navigator, Nutraceuticals Business Review and National Pharmacy magazine. Coverage in July and August 2019 increased by more than 300% on the previous year.

Social media following, impressions and engagement on LinkedIn and Twitter has continued to grow as posts are repurposed from the steady flow of investor content updates. A new responsive website, created in collaboration with Design by PHD has also increased traffic to the Optibiotix product page, supporting sales growth.
